Adam Cohen, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Departments of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and of Physics at Harvard University. In 2007 Technology Review Magazine named him one of the top 35 American innovators under the age of 35. He is the winner of several awards for his work.

Adam led a summer workshop at the University of Liberia to demonstrate how interesting scientific experiments can be performed using locally procured chemicals and equipment. As a result, the University’s science departments can offer better education to students in medicine, engineering, and agronomy.
