Marie-Eve Desrosiers

Marie-Eve Desrosiers is an assistant professor in the School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on the security and governance of developing countries, particularly in the African Great Lakes region. She has developed experiential learning based courses for Canadian students in Rwanda and written on experiential learning in challenging, authoritarian, conflict and/or post-conflict settings. She has experience with regards to ethical issues and challenges of research in challenging settings and has served on the University of Ottawa Research Ethics Board since 2012. She also has eight years of experience managing small academic units (research chair, centre and laboratory).
