Vic Neufeld is a physician, educator, and international consultant based in Hamilton, Canada. He is a specialist in internal medicine, holds a graduate degree in educational psychology, and his research was in the field of medical education. Over more than 25 years, he has held various academic leadership positions at McMaster University, where he is currently Professor Emeritus. His continuing interests and activities are focused on capacity strengthening and leadership development in health research in low and middle income countries. He is the national coordinator for the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Global Health at the University of Ottawa and Simon Fraser University.
